PLAYING ROBOTS INTO HEAVEN
AN ALBUM BY JAMES BLAKE
This design is for musician James Blake's album Playing Robots into Heaven. All deliverables were created using a set of custom-designed fonts that reflect the album's instrumental roots and sonic landscape.
The album was recorded using a modular synthesizer, a complex instrument composed of individual module units allowing for experimental sound design. The nature of these instruments inspired the wired, tactile elements of the branding.
